InsideOUT is a webinar-type of workshop but still highly interactive and participatory which will require the full attention of participants at all times. It is a compilation of activities, games and open discussions with a bit of theory on the topic of unconscious bias. In this workshop participants will experience firsthand how they are unconsciously stereotyping and feel what it means to be labeled. They will explore the prejudices based on different criteria and try to fight them. They will reflect on their own superpowers and brainstorm ideas how to become an ally and what they can do themselves in their personal and professional lives in order to reduce the prejudices and descrimination and to help raise awareness of people around them.
Stereotyping and categorizations are so natural human phenomena that we don’t even pay attention to them anymore or even worse – have normalized it completely. But the truth is that putting people in boxes influences our overall attitude, leads to negative behavior patterns and deprives us from seeing clearly the deepest of human potential, thus badly hurting our fruitful relationships with others.
