The business platform Work It OUT, created by the GLAS Foundation, organized an event, entitled ‘Diversity Pays Off’, in partnership with other four non-governmental organizations – Open Society Institute Foundation, Bulgarian Women’s Fund, Zaslushaise Foundation and Social Future Foundation with their platform JAMBA.
The aim of the initiative was to discuss the challenges and strategies in implementing and developing active diversity policies in the corporate environment in Bulgaria. Various representatives of the private sector shared their experience and approach in this field. Among them were HPE, SAP, Lidl Bulgaria, Telenor Group and EY Bulgaria.
The event, which took place on June 12, 2018, was attended by the United States Ambassador to Bulgaria Eric Rubin and Anthony Thompson, the World Bank Country Manager for Bulgaria.
