On the eve of May 17 – International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia and half an year after the organized homophobic attack on the former LGBTI + community center Rainbow Hub, it reopened with a new address in downtown Sofia. Since its opening in 2018, the community center is the only non-profit venue for meetings, discussions, consultations and events for the queer community in Bulgaria. The place also serves as the office of the two governing foundations – Bilitis and GLAS, and is currently home to the newly formed queer feminist organization Saffo. The newly opened Rainbow Hub is located on Gladstone Str in Sofia. You can learn more about the program and the activities of the hub from its official Facebook page.
